Drum roll please ..... After much deliberation we have decided on her new name. She will be:
Leah Colleen Chen Guang Butz !
Leah - Janice's maiden name is Leahy.
Colleen - Janice's Mother's Name
Chen Guang - Her Chinese name meaning, " Light of the early morning sun".
Butz - Self explanatory and unavoidable.
We received a little more information about Leah today.
Here is what we learned:
On November 16, 2009 she had a physical examination. At that time she was 13.42 lbs and 25.59 inches tall.
Some fun things about her personality:
*Her favorite activity is interacting with other babies.
*Her favorite toy is a doll.
*She is a deep sleeper.
*She has a quiet disposition and a ready smile.
*She is fond of looking at picture books (Yes! I think she will love books like the rest of us!)
*She is obstinate sometimes (uh-oh!)
*She is closest to her caregiver.
Have I mentioned yet we are already in love with this little girl?!
We want to thank everyone for all the wonderful phone calls and emails we have received. We are grateful to be able to share our exciting journey!
Oh my gosh! This brings tears to my eyes! We're a year and 9 months behind you guys and this brings renewed hope that our dream (third darling daughter) will come true! We are so excited as you begin these last steps to bringing darling baby Leah home to her "forever family". Blessings to all! The Golik Family
